The revolution in hospitality and air travel was kicked off by Nicholas Bredimus, who led them to the programming industry to produce a new way to do business. His career highlights include time-saving computer software, aircraft safety advancements, and even the design of upmarket houses. And whatever he turns to, he will give his full energy to it.

You could have predicted, mind you, that given his heritage he was certain to rise to prominence. His family traces its roots as long ago as the days of ancient Rome and proudly boasts a broad background. His maternal family mingles German and Scottish ancestry. The paternal line, in contrast, comes from England and Luxembourg, from where his forebears eventually emigrated toward the end of the 19th century.

Once in the US, they still strove to rise up the social ladder. Part of a family of seven children — three boys and four girls — Nicholas was blessed with a father who worked as a mechanical design engineer and a mother who earned her living as a practicing nurse. Bredimus would dwell in Texas for a while as well as in Kansas City, MO, Reston, VA and Scottsdale, AZ.

What did he do with his heritage and schooling? He would swiftly embark on a string of respected jobs, all as part of major airlines. He ascended to the position of vp with businesses like Trans World Airlines (TWA), Hughes Airwest, and Republic Airlines respectively. These accomplishments nothwithstanding, the airlines have had reason to thank him still more for the work he has done in software programming. Mr Nicholas Bredimus is easily most recognized for a US Airways request, crafting aircraft management software, which would soon become the industry standard. He turned his creativity next to taking and recording bookings. For both hotels and air travel he developed programs to handle the bulk of the work necessary until this approach. Continuing to innovate, he produced a networked system to automate ticket ordering — another groundbreaking accomplishment.

Bredimus has even taken on a number of posts entirely outside of software design, keep in mind. In his own company — Bredimus Systems — overseeing IT for American Express, and as the founding president of AMR Travel Services his performance speaks for itself. Though he has stepped back from the businesses which first gave him success, his capabilities are, regardless, still in demand. Presently, he designs and builds upscale houses designed around many of the latest technology on the planet. It’s really incredible how far desire will carry you!
