I have been reading a lot of great new blogs recently. I am still undecided about all the twitter dither. I still enjoy blogs and have a substantial number in my feed reader.

The key part of blogs is that you can find hidden treasures, and they are from people that in reality like to put pen to paper.

Sure you can discover some swanky people on twitter. But, seriously, twitter is for individuals with attention defecit disorder or who dont like to write normal posts. Yes, scores of people twitter and also blog, and those souls are chill by me, but I am forever and eternally a blog devotee.

Blogs impel the author to actually articluate their judgment. Twitter alternatively merely lets you to submit it. Call me old fashioned but I imagine there is a point where smaller is no longer sweeter. We have been obsessed with miniturization for so long. Specially when it comes to technology. Surely there has to be a level where we recognise substance matters. Value matters. What do you suppose?

Perhaps the solid answer lies in equilibrium. And compromise. You cannot squeeze individuals to have substance and not be shallow. But, too perhaps you need to force the navel gazing hippies to lighten up a little too?
